Electronic identification

To identify yourself electronically, you will receive an e-mail from us with a link to an electronically secured data room.

Option A - Identification with ID Austria (cell phone signature):
If you have the full version of ID Austria, you can enter the data room directly with your access data and are thus electronically identified with us at the same time and have identified yourself.

Option B - Identification with passport or ID card:
If you do not have an ID Austria, you will go through a short video identification procedure via the link. Your personal data will be checked during a video call using your passport or ID card, which you must hold up to the camera on your computer. Special software is used to check that the video stream has not been manipulated and that you are who you say you are. Once the video identification process has been successfully completed, you will receive your own cell phone signature for the purpose of authenticating your signature.

Video Call

A video call for electronic signing can now be arranged with our notary's office.

Access to documents

For the video call, our law firm uploads the documents to be signed to the data room to which you have access thanks to step 1.

Electronic signature

The documents are discussed and signed electronically during the video call.

Transmission of documents

After signing, we also notarize (certify) the signatures electronically and send you the signed documents. NO paper documents are created; the originals exist exclusively in electronic form. Independent of this, it is also possible for documents to be signed in hybrid form (e.g. one contracting party signs "classically" in analog form in front of the notary, but another signs electronically).
